About 360° Chicago (John Hancock Observatory)
Enjoy an aerial view of Chicago from 1,000 feet above Chicago’s infamous magnificent mile at the top of the 360° building (formally the John Hancock Observatory). Situated along Michigan Avenue with stunning view of Lake Michigan, Chicago’s 360° recently underwent a multi-million dollar renovation in 2014. Renovations include high tech touch screens with interactive, educational content explaining nearby landmarks and allowing visitors to zoom in on area attractions.
In July 2014, the 360° was named one the nation’s “best views in America.”
In the spring of 2014, the 360° debuted its newest attraction, “The Tilt.” The Tilt is a floor to ceiling glass window which allows guests to grab onto a vertical hand bar and literally tilt the window outwards looking down upon the street.
A gift shop allows visitors to buy Chicago memorabilia and Chicago related toys. Children 2 and under admitted free.
TIP: Save on ticket prices and opt to dine at the Signature Room, a fine dining restaurant one level above the 360°, on the 95th floor and have lunch or brunch and be treated to similar views.
