About Fort Worth Water Garden

The Fort Worth Water Garden is a 4.3 acre fountain garden and park designed by famous post modern New York architects, Phillip Johnson and John Burgee. The garden is a  great place to climb and explore and boasts over 500 different kids of plants and trees. A large stone “mountain” sits in the middle of the park, which allows visitors to use their strength and footing to get to the top. Informational plaques credit the book “Alice in Wonderland” as the inspiration for the three unique water fountains and wading pools, designed to give visitors a distorted sense of size and space relations. This free park also allows visitors to walk down cascading stone rocks, 30 feet inside a cascading water fountain.
