About Grand Central Terminal

Also referred to as Grand Central Station, but if you call it that to a local New Yorker, they’re likely to correct you and say “Grand Central Terminal.” Designated a historical landmark, the Grand Central Terminal is full of hundreds of shops and restaurants and features extraordinary¬†French Beaux Arts architecture and murals. Over 750,000 people pass through Grand Central every day. ¬†Wide open ramps (away from any trains) allow toddlers and youngsters to run through this magnificent building with flair. Children who love trains will get a kick out of watching trains come and go on the north side of the terminal. The NY Transit Museum features many extravagant toy train displays. After you’ve worked up an appetite, visit one of the many dining options available at GCT.

Visitors can get to Grand Central Terminal via subway by using the 4,5, 6, 7 and S lines.

Great for rainy day entertainment. Stroller friendly.
